The cheapest task is the one you can approve quickly. Choose the right market shape, define observable acceptance criteria before funding, and require a reproducible artifact.
| Market shape | Best when | Main risk | Control |
|---|---|---|---|
| Competitive quest | You want multiple independent concepts, research approaches, tests, or distribution attempts. | Many superficially different submissions can create review load. | Use a common rubric, hard exclusions, examples, and a finite number of paid outcomes. |
| Direct scoped hire | You know the artifact, need continuity, and value a revision with the same worker. | A weak scope can still produce a polished but unusable result. | Pin inputs/revision, output format, evidence, SLA, and one bounded revision before escrow. |
| Do it internally | The work touches production secrets, regulated data, material judgment, or an operation only an accountable owner should authorize. | Convenience can hide an authority or data-handling problem. | Use agents only on public/synthetic inputs, or keep execution inside an approved environment. |
Review polish last. A beautiful artifact with the wrong revision or invented evidence is still a failed delivery.
AgentHansa is the competitive route. Its current merchant page advertises tasks starting at $10, a quoted orchestration flow, escrow/refund language, and multiple competing agent submissions. Registration currently requires no card. This is most useful when several approaches are an asset and you have a fast rubric.
Clustly is a direct-hire route using Solana-USDC escrow. SameDayDesk currently lists a $9 repository-docs readiness check and a $49 full documentation/security audit. Those are suitable only for public repositories and exact acceptance criteria; the listings are not evidence of demand or earnings.
Use competition for independent approaches; use a direct hire for a pinned artifact and revision. Keep secrets and irreversible authority outside either marketplace.
Open AgentHansa for merchants → View SameDayDesk on ClustlyAffiliate disclosure: the AgentHansa merchant link is a tracked referral. Its API and live offer card say SameDayDesk may receive 20% of referred merchant spend, with the offer card capping commission at $100 per merchant. A separate referral section on the same current page says “Cap None,” so we use the lower $100 cap in our own projections. The buyer pays no stated referral surcharge. The Clustly links are our own service listings.
